Ingredients
Scale
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon milk or water
1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1 tablespoon diced bell pepper
1 tablespoon diced onion
1 teaspoon olive oil or cooking spray
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Lightly spray a small, oven-safe ramekin or silicone mold (that fits comfortably in your air fryer basket) with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.
In a bowl, whisk the eggs and milk or water together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in the diced bell pepper, onion, and shredded cheese into the egg mixture.
Pour the mixture into the prepared ramekin or mold.
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
Carefully place the ramekin or mold into the air fryer basket.
Cook for 10 to 14 minutes. Check for doneness at 10 minutes; the center should be set and the top lightly golden. If it is still wet, continue cooking in 1-2 minute increments.
Remove carefully from the air fryer using oven mitts. Let it cool for one minute before inverting onto a plate.
Notes
For a fluffier omelette, whisk the eggs vigorously to incorporate more air.
Use a silicone mold for the easiest removal; if using a ramekin, ensure it is well-greased to prevent sticking.
This recipe is great for low carb breakfast air fryer meals or keto friendly air fryer options.
You can substitute fillings like spinach, mushrooms, or cooked ham.
