  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Take the frozen shrimp directly from the freezer. Do not thaw them. Place the shrimp in a medium bowl.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the frozen shrimp. Toss gently to coat them lightly.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and oregano.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the oiled shrimp. Toss again until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  6. Place the seasoned frozen shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary to ensure crispiness.
  7. Air fry for 8 minutes.
  8. Open the basket and shake the shrimp well to flip them.
  9. Continue to air fry for another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and slightly crispy on the edges. Total cook time is typically 11 to 13 minutes.
  10. Remove immediately and serve hot. This is a great low carb air fryer shrimp option.
