Make soft, gooey cinnamon roll bites quickly using this no-yeast recipe. These bite-sized treats are perfect for a fast breakfast or an easy dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Glaze:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a small, shallow dish, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together. This is your cinnamon sugar mix.
  3. Unroll the biscuit dough. Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces. You should have 16 pieces total.
  4. Roll each small piece of dough lightly in the cinnamon sugar mix until coated on all sides.
  5. Arrange the coated dough pieces close together in the prepared baking pan.
  6. Melt the butter. Pour the melted butter evenly over the dough pieces in the pan.
  7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. While the bites bake, prepare the cream cheese glaze. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  9. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined. Add milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach a smooth, pourable consistency.
  10. Remove the cinnamon roll bites from the oven. Let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
  11. Drizzle the cream cheese glaze generously over the warm bites before serving.

Notes

  • For extra gooey centers, you can place a small pinch of extra cinnamon sugar inside the dough pieces before rolling them up.
  • If you prefer a thinner glaze, add a little more milk to the mixture.
  • These are best eaten warm, making them a great quick dessert recipe.
