Make these quick, cheesy pizza bites using pre-made biscuit dough. They are perfect for game day, parties, or a simple, satisfying snack for the family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin to create a thin circle.
  3. Place about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  4. Top the sauce with a small amount of mozzarella cheese and 2-3 mini pepperoni slices.
  5. Fold the edges of the biscuit dough up and over the filling, pinching the seams tightly to seal the filling inside and form a ball. Ensure the seal is complete to prevent leakage.
  6. Place the sealed pizza bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the pizza bites.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush the tops with melted garlic butter after baking instead of before.
  • If you prefer a different topping, substitute the pepperoni with cooked, crumbled sausage or finely chopped cooked vegetables.
  • This recipe works well with store-bought puff pastry if you prefer a flakier texture instead of soft biscuit dough.
