  • 1 large lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

Instructions

  1. Peel the fresh ginger root.
  2. Place the peeled ginger, lemon juice, ground turmeric, and black pepper into a small blender or food processor.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of water if you prefer a slightly less intense shot consistency.
  4. Blend until completely smooth.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a small bowl, pressing down on the solids to extract all the liquid. Discard the pulp.
  6. Pour the liquid into a small glass or shot glass.
  7. Drink immediately for an immunity booster.
