Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wedge aged cheddar cheese
  • 1 wedge soft goat cheese
  • 4 oz prosciutto slices
  • 4 oz salami, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup seedless green grapes
  • 1/4 cup toasted almonds
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 small jar fig jam
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1/4 cup edible flowers (pansies, violas) for garnish
  • Small sprigs fresh rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and a large wooden or slate serving board.
  2. Slice the baguette into half-inch thick pieces. Arrange the bread slices on one section of the board.
  3. Cut the aged cheddar into small cubes or irregular pieces. Place the cheddar and the soft goat cheese onto the board, leaving space between them.
  4. Fold or loosely roll the prosciutto and salami slices. Place them near the cheeses, creating texture.
  5. Arrange the fresh berries and grapes in small clusters around the cheeses and meats.
  6. Place the toasted almonds in a small bowl or directly onto an open space on the board.
  7. Spoon the fig jam into a small ramekin and place it on the board. Drizzle the honey over the goat cheese or place it in a separate small dish.
  8. Artfully place the edible flowers and rosemary sprigs among the other items to create a savory floral look.
  9. Present the finished meat and cheese board for your family to enjoy.
